Natalie Caula Hauff is Deputy Director of the Charleston County Public Library, overseeing Innovation services, which includes partnerships, outreach, including Mobile Library services, community engagement, programs and events, data management, as well as communications and marketing. Hauff previously served as Media Relations Coordinator at Charleston County Government, where she was chair of the county’s Diversity Committee. Hauff spent nearly a decade as a journalist in radio, TV and newspaper. She was a reporter for ABC News 4 and the Post and Courier newspaper, where she earned a Pulitzer Prize in 2015. She currently serves as Chair-Elect of My Sister’s House, a non-profit organization that supports victims of domestic violence. She also sits on the American Library Association’s Public Awareness Committee and serves as a mentor for Charleston County Government’s Emerging Leader Program. Hauff is Cuban-American and speaks Spanish.
